Angus Tennis Development Group

Angus Tennis Development Group was formed in 1994 to help promote tennis within Angus. It is run by representatives of Angus Clubs, coaches, Angus Council staff and others with an interest in promoting the sport.

The group runs development squads with training indoors at Next Generation, Monifieth during the winter months.

The group runs an annual Confined Tournament which takes place at Montrose Tennis Club during June. This event is open to any juniors who live in Angus or are members of Angus clubs or are members of clubs affiliated to the ATDG.

The group runs at hoc club competitions and coach education sessions.

During 2005, the group organised a successful coaching programme at primary schools in Angus thanks to financial support from Awards for All.
